You can only submit 1 request for NYSITELL answer sheets per day so it is best to wait until later in the day to do a submission in case there are several people who need an answer sheet.
To request a NYSITELL answer sheet, do the following:
In Aspen, go to District view, student top tab.
Click the Field Set button and select ELL Fields.
Search for the student.
Click Options, Modify List.

\\DOFS02\Public\production\New Student System\Aspen\studentMaintenance_2024.accdb
Call up the module called modCreateNYSITELL_ans_sheets .
Position the cursor before Private Sub createNYSITELL_ans_sheets and click the green arrow at the top.
This code will then create an Excel file in the folder C:\NYSITELL_answer_sheet_requests. The file will be named NYSITELL_answer_sheets_South_Colonie_" {today’s date} ".xls.
Next, log into NERIC’s Serv-U site (https://trans.neric.org/) with your Serv-U credentials. If you do not have Serv-U credentials, contact NERIC Testing at 518-862-5314.
Upload the Excel file that you just created into the Uploads folder on the Serv-U web site.
After you upload the file, go to the Google sheet called “NERIC NYSITELL Answer Sheet Request”. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfSE3Xvlmq3sN1QMhzzrOg6duuhEdW3gwWttWdltntF25_9fQ/viewform
Fill out the information on these forms to let them know that you are requesting a new NYSITELL answer sheet.
On the second page of that form, enter the number of answer sheets requested for each level. Only enter a number in if it is greater than 0. Level the field blank if you do not need to order any answer sheets for that level.
The next day, log into the NERIC Serv-U website (https://trans.neric.org/) and click the folder called NYSITELL. Make sure that you click the heading called Time twice to get the files listed chronologically in descending order.
Open the latest folder and download the NYSITELL answer sheet(s) and send them to the teacher who requested them as well as the ENL administrator.
