From your Computer

The new Sharp copiers have a program called PaperCut MF installed.  Instead of choosing a printer to print to, you will print to "PaperCut Printing" and then walk to any Sharp copier and swipe your badge to print the job.

If "Papercut Printing" does not show up as an option, double click on "Connect to Printers" on your desktop and scroll down to find Papercut Printing.  Double click and you should connect.  If it asks for a username and password please submit a help desk request and we will push out the driver.

Jobs will remain in the copier's queue for 8 hours.  After 8 hours the job will have to be reprinted.

At the Copier

The default screen for the copier will now be the PaperCut login screen.  To login, put your ID next to the icon circled below.  Different devices may have the reader in different spots - look for the icon that looks like a hand holding an ID.

If you do not have your ID you may put in your username and password or touch “Guest” and then “Access Device” to use the device for copying purposes.

The first time you register your ID you will be asked to put in your username and password.  The keyboard slides out from below the screen.  Do not include @scolonie.org.  You only need to do this once - once registered it will work on any Sharp copier in the district.

Once logged in you are shown the menu below.

“Print Release” is to print any jobs that have been printed to the “Papercut Printer” via “Connect to Printers” on your desktop.

When choosing this printer as the destination you may release the job from *any* device using PaperCut.  For example, if you are at Saddlewood and print to “PaperCut Printer”, you may go to the main office *or* the conference room and the job will be waiting to be printed.

“Access Device”  will show the usual Sharp menu to make copies.

“Scan” will allow you to scan directly to your Google Drive.  Choose “Scan to Google Drive” and scan your document.

The first time you scan you will be sent an email to complete authorization.  Click the “Login to Google Drive” link and choose your scolonie.org account.

Once you authorize PaperCut, your scanned files will go into the “Scans for PaperCut MF” folder within your Google Drive
