If you are getting kicked out of Google Meet then it could be due to high CPU usage by the Chromebook. Please close as many tabs as possible as a first step. Also please check to see if there are any Chrome updates to be run - please click on this link to be brought to a page with instructions on updating your device.
Disable the camera when appropriate
If your teacher indicates that it's no longer necessary for you to keep your camera on it is recommend to click the camera icon at the bottom of the screen to turn off your camera.
Turn on "Spotlight Mode"
When in the Meet click the 3 dots in the lower right
Click on "Change Layout" and select Spotlight then click the X
Change the Send and Receive resolution to 360p
Click the 3 dots in the lower right and go to "Settings" and choose "Video" on the left.
