Go to the waffle and then click Google Meet or go directly to meet.google.com to create a Google Meet with students
Click the + and nickname the Meet something unique to your class - example - period3Lovett (this is crucial, the session must be nicknamed and the students must enter using the nickname)
Click join
Copy joining info (save in a Google doc in case you need it later)
You can then share the nickname with your students in Google Classroom (students will select "enter meeting code")
When your session is over please remove all the students from the class and leave yourself (make sure they leave or you kick them out)
Please check back to your nicknamed room over the next 15 minutes to ensure no students re-entered the room
