If an error occurs when trying to post grades, make sure that the decimals setting is not set to null.
Go into staff view
Select that teacher
Click your name in the upper right corner (Next to logoff)
Click Set preferences
Click the gradebook tab.
Look for the Decimals option at the bottom of the set preferences window.
Make sure that it is not null. If it is, change it to 0.
