Aspen now has the ability for you to create user defined fields for your students within your classes if there is information you'd like to store.

First, within your Gradebook click the "Gear" icon

Then navigate to the "Student Information" tab and put a checkmark next to "Enable student details" and click Save

Then navigate to the "Roster" side tab for your class and click on "Options" and then "Configure Student Data Tab

The window below will come up.  You can put a checkmark next to one of the fields you would like to use.  The "Field Info" column will show how many characters the field can hold - 10, 25, or 50.  Choose the field(s) you'd like to use and put in a Label for each.  Click Save when finished.

Back in the Scores side tab, to view/edit the information you can click the icon of a person with a question mark next to it to bring up Student Details.

In the popup that comes up you can click the "Student Data" tab to view the new field.  You can enter in data and save from this screen.

This information is only visible from within your gradebook - at the moment there is no way to share this data with anybody else.
