District managed devices should automatically connect to WolfPack-Net or WolfPack-PSK. During the transition to the new wifi system there could be some devices that do not yet have the credentials saved to automatically join - in this case, please submit a help desk request and we will provide instructions.
Personal Devices
Faculty and staff are able to join the WolfPack-Guest wifi network with their district username and password. Please read these instructions to the end - there's a very important final step that must be completed to prevent your device from becoming disconnected after two weeks.
Choose the WolfPack-Guest network and a captive portal login screen should pop up. If no screen pops up try opening a browser window and see if you are automatically redirected.
Put in your username (do not include @scolonie.org) and password and Log In.
You will be redirected to a "Please wait" screen that indicates your device has been registered. Turn wifi off and back on and rejoin WolfPack-Guest and you will remain online for 10 months before having to login once again.
LAST STEP: Mac randomization is commonly enabled by default on up to date operating systems. This is meant to prevent "tracking" by organizations, but for your device to connect day after day, your device has to present itself to the system as having registered before which means this randomization has to be disabled for the WolfPack-Guest network. If this is not disabled, two weeks after joining, your device will present a new identity to the system and you will be stuck with no internet connection until you "Forget" the network and rejoin.
